Job Description

The role

Manages the system requirements and developments of the team handling product change and launch projects within their dedicated Markets. Acts as the interface between the team responsible for Project Coordination, the internal system development department, and external software suppliers. Ensures new software demands are captured, discussed, aligned with affected stakeholders, specified, and tested properly. In addition, support the project coordination team in the daily business to develop a deep process understanding.

Key accountabilities

  • Serves as key point of contact and consultant for PCC for the PLM system, including the aspects of developing new functions, analyzing user queries, supporting user training
  • Collect business requirements from PCC and markets and delivers functional requirements for system changes
  • Aligns continuous improvement ideas with stakeholders and the development team
  • Participating in projects dedicated to the general improvement of the PLM System
  • Initiate and run Project Kick off Meetings
  • System testing to be aware of the technical constraints of the system, difficulties, anticipating risks
  • Prepare and distribute Project Briefing documents, taking into consideration all essential information required in the process. Create and maintain project documentation
  • Co-ordinate the activities of numerous internal departments along the PIP process such as Manufacturing, Product Management, Print Development etc.
  • Follow up on Project status, ensuring that tasks are completed according to cost estimations, market requirements and within agreed time frame
  • Proactively resolve project bottlenecks

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • University degree in either science, engineering or business administration
  • Highly engaged and proactive, self-driven.
  • Able to think conceptually.
  • Experience in working with system development teams, external software companies
  • Very good Project Management skills, having successfully ran complex projects (cross regional or cross functional) preferably related to Product Introduction
  • Ability to translate user requirements into technical concepts, share & discuss concepts with development partners
  • Growth Mind-set
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication including close collaboration with Commercial leads.
  • Knowledge of the PLM & Forecast to stock (F2S) processes and associated systems (PLM, APO, SAP…) would be advantageous 
  • Good intercultural, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English is a must
